Seems like I have tried everything from WD40 to plain ole elbow grease. This stuff is baked on. Surely there is a way to get this stuff off, I’m sure this happens to alot of people who have had a first time rider or two on the back of their bike.

The front (disc) brake shoes on my 1983 Yamaha Virago 920 are worn unevenly. One is at 90% the other is at 20%. The fluid seems fine, the brakes work okay. Clue- The rear brakes were worn out when I bought the bike a few months ago.

I am currently considering shopping for motorcycle gear. I travel quite a bit between the states and uk so i was thinking if it is cheaper to buy safety gear in the states or uk. I quite like the agv helmets and alpinestars clothing and sidi shoes so any help will be appreciated.
